Who we are

Contractor Bid Hub is operated by Contractor Bid Pro LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service.

What personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, login credentials, company name, role.
  • Profile data: company address, phone number, logo.
  • Service content: bids, customer records, proposals, blueprints, and other content you upload.
  • Support communications: messages you send us.
  • Usage and telemetry: pages visited, feature usage, error reports.
  • Device and connection data: device identifier, browser, IP address, approximate location.

Payment data (card details, billing address) is collected directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We do not see or store your full payment details.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • To provide the Service (account creation, hosting your content, generating proposals) — performance of our contract with you.
  • Security and fraud prevention — our legitimate interests.
  • Product improvement and analytics — our legitimate interests.
  • Customer support — performance of our contract with you.
  • Marketing communications (if any) — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal and tax compliance — legal obligation.

Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database, analytics, error tracking, email delivery.
  • Paddle (Merchant of Record) for processing payments, managing subscriptions, calculating and remitting taxes, and issuing invoices.
  • Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, and auditors when needed.
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may be located outside your country. Where data leaves the UK/EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long we keep data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After account closure we keep data for up to 30 days to allow recovery, then delete or anonymize it. Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices, tax records) are kept for the period required by law.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Have inaccurate data corrected;
  • Have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten");
  • Restrict or object to processing;
  • Receive your data in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
  • Complain to a supervisory authority in your country.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the in-app support channel. We aim to respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions, and regular monitoring to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and to remember preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies will break sign-in.

We may update this Privacy Notice. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
